Bad Gatway error when request is coming to Siebel

Hi,

We use Selectica as the Product Configurator to Add Products to a Quote. This is a Web Service Integration and is configured as a Symbolic URL (upon clicking a button on the Quote Screen)
The users select products on Selectica. Add/Modify configurations on Selectica and click on "Add To Quote" on Selectica. Upon doing this, the users get an error that states "Bad Gateway - The proxy Server received an Invalid Response from the upstream Server". As a result of which Products cannot be added to the Quote.
We are unable to replicate the issue consistently on our Test or Dev Environments and occurs only on Production.
