Application of ESUs

Just wanted to know if an ESU contains multiple SARs addressing multiple objects, is it possible to selectively apply certain SARs which relate to particular object only. This would save a lot of time in testing other objects and improve the turnaround time for resolution of issues which are dependent on fixes through ESUs.

Not sure if I have posted in the correct community.
