Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Instance caging setup

Hi,

We are planning to setup the instance caging on my 11.2.0.1 database ( Windows 2008 - 64 bit). Server has 4 CPU and 96 gb memory.

We would like to have one production database and one staging database ( 20% to 30% load when compared to production).

Do you suggest instance caging? Any setup issues? Is that easy to maintain?
