Unified Catalogue : Upgrade from Rel 11i to R12
One of our customer is looking to upgrade from R11i to R12. The upgrade guide suggests that all bulk loaded catalogue items with a contract reference will be upgraded as a GBPA. Customer uses the same CPA for both catalogue items and also for non catalogue requests (contract setup in ASL - Automatic sourcing is not switched on) in Release 11i. THe CPAs are setup with an agreed amount and has been drawn down (amount released)
On upgrade if a BPA is created for these catalogue items.
a) What happens to the existing CPA ?? The customer would still need to use the CPA for non catalogue items via the ASL ?(For eg: If a NCR is for a category that is not in the BPA)
