How to setup the system to create warranty to the parent and to the child also based on BOM in selli

My customer is working with the service suite of Oracle including the service contracts module,

There is an issue that I will appreciate if someone will share his knowledge with me to understand it

The customer processes are:

1. Create a child item (sub assembly) by WIP completion in operation unit1 (the item has a BOM with warranty, serial controlled and IB tractable).

2. The child item Can be sell to end customer , In this case the warranty is created automatically based on the BOM in operation unit1.

3. The other case is to ship the child item by Internal order to operating unit2.
