Is stopping an audit using NOAUDIT statement will help to reduce the database upgrade time

Hi
- is stopping an  audit using NOAUDIT statement will help to reduce the  database upgrade time ?

As we don't want to move the aud$ to some other tablespace because not recommended by Oracle
and also  we don't want to export the SYS.AUD$ Table and  truncate the SYS.AUD$ Table  it before proceeding with database upgrade and  import the SYS.AUD$ Table from export file after  the DB is successfully upgraded ,
