ODM - List Creation - It's Hard Work, there must be a better way
I'm learning things as we start working with ODM, so this one is in the spirit of sharing.
We created a Campaign with CRMOD and asked the sales team to add their contacts to the Campaign they'd like to ensure received the email and associated offer. Keep in mind, these recipients are nominated by the sales team, there's no specific demographic or attribute we could search for to segment them by. They were in the list because a salesperson wanted them in the list.
We then realised that NOTHING from the Campaigns Object in CRMOD comes across to ODM. We then had to create an Attribute in ODM, manually attach that to each of the Contacts in ODM and then create a List in ODM based on that attribute. This wasn't so bad, we had 44 Contacts. But what if you had thousands or perhaps millions?
