Interactive Application Usage Count/Patterns?

Where can I find a log/record of when an interactive application was opened, at what time/date and by whom?

For UBEs, we can see when it was submitted and by whom. I'd like to see something similiar for IVs as well, and ideally, where the user navigated from in his/her session.

It doesn't matter to me if this in JDE or in the web server - just a log on what application was used, when and by whom

With this information, I'm trying to find usage patterns so we can improve productivity and usability in JDE. For example, application X is used 100 times a day but application Y is only used 10 times a day....so it's worthwhile to improve navigation/performance/usage to application X, but not Y.
