Patch 4396842 and its pre-requisite 3036401 - The following Oracle Forms objects did not generate

We have applied the patch 4396842 and its pre-requisite 3036401 (as this was missing)

There was an error while applying both patches:

Errors:
The following Oracle Forms objects did not generate successfully:

au      resource        CUSTOM.pll

An error occurred while generating Oracle Forms library files.

I have also tried compiling CUSTOM.pll manually, yet i recieve the following error:
FRM-30312: Failed to compile the library.

Please let me know if this patch impacts CUSTOM.pll.
How can I applied this patches? What is the problem?

I appreciate any feedback regarding this.
