Upgrade from 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2

To all,

I thought I had successfully upgraded my Windows DB from 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2 and applied the CPU-APR-2011, but whenever I re-start my db service, the db comes up in as an IDLE INSTANCE.   When I issue STARTUP OPEN from SQLPlus, the db starts beautifully. 

Why doens't the db STARTUP automatically?  I did before....
