Use of Mod Function in PSP WFP

Hi - We have a requirement to use the MOD operator in the PSP Pricing routine. and have observed that the Mod operator is not working in the PSP expression builder. 

Also found a bug listed for the same defect on the support site. Bug 12405401: MOD OPERATOR AVAILABLE IN EXPRESSION BUILDER NOT WORKING ON CALCULATED FIELD.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue and is there any workarounds/solutions available for it?
We are on Siebel 8.1.1
