R085524 and changing plans
We are getting ready to start Benefit Self Service, during testing I changed plans for two employees from Medical1 to Medical2. When I ran R085524 - Update Benefits to Live Tables, it did not end Medical1, it just added a new enrollment for Medical2. When looking on support I found document 653607.1 that mentioned that R085524 is not designed to handle company mandated plan changes. This isn't a company mandated plan change, this is just changing from one medical plan to a different medical plan. How do those that run benefit self service handle something like this?
For this example assume Medical1 is PPO and Medical2 is an HMO and an employee is wanting to change providers but neither are being dropped by the company, they are both viable plans.
