OVM guest access to OVM server's physical drives

Following on from my query VNC for OVM server itself (i.e. not the VMs), authoritatively answered in the negative by Tommy, with the suggestion in the subject of this call.

I'd like to run the MegaRAID Storage Manager GUI on a guest on the server with access to its server's physical drives, with its email notification facility.  Any pointers in that direction would be gratefully received.
