Hareware and OS upgrade wihout application version change

At present we are using 11.5.10.2 in the server IBM x346 where OS is Linux ES 3(x86) - 32 With update 3. Now we are going upgrade our hardware IBM x3650 M2 with OS ES 5(x86) keeping application version same.

What are the steps involved to do this  ?
