Overlapping of Absences through User Hook

in EBS Customizations (MOSC) Question
Hi,

We have a business requirement to prevent Overlapping of Absence in Self Service, Oracle has suggested to use user hooks for the same.

Can anyone please guide us/provide an overview that how can we achieve the same through User Hooks, as we are unable to fetch the transaction ID in user hooks.

Any help will be grateful.
