Query regarding crs and asm upgrade with standby in place.

Hi,
Can we upgrade the CRS/ASM to 11gR1 (11.1.0.7) from 10gR2(10.2.0.4) first in DR site and in production a week after , like to know impact of this kind of configuration.Is there any supporting document in MOS regarding this.
