SFTP and FTP doesn't authenticate against the Active Directory domain?

Hi,
Introduction for both, SFTP and FTP:

"Anonymous logins are not allowed, users must authenticate with whichever name service is configured in Services."

Whichever, beside Active Directory? As connecting user I have tried: user@domain, domain\user, domain/user...

My domain configuration is working proper for the SMB shares and the management via Windows MC.
