GICU and G/L Date not being updated in the F0618 and the F0719

Issue:  Sporadically the G/L Batch number and G/L Date are not being updated to the Timecard History (F0618) and PDBA History (F0719) when Final Update is run.  It will be an entire payroll, but not the same payroll each time.  Sometimes the Journal Entry goes to the G/L complete, sometimes it doesn’t.

 

The customer is running payroll for approximately 7,000 +/- employees.

Pre-payroll, Journal Entries and Final Update are running on a single threaded job que.

No security changes have been made to users in 6 months.

Several payroll ids are being used due to differences in pay cycle.
