Creating EDI 856 ASN (DSNO) for drop ship orders in Oracle EBS R12

Hello,

some of our EDI enabled customers are requesting ASNs for drop ship orders. I am not able to generate an ASN since we don't ship the product. Our supplier is able to send us an ASN to receive the PO lines on our side.

Based on my research, this functionionality is not available in R12 yet.

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to create a customization that would allow us to generate an ASN to our customer when we receive the ASN from our supplier?
