RMAN backup is failed - ORA-3009,ORA-19502,ORA-27072

Hi All,

OS = RHEL 4
DB = 10.2.0.4

My Rman backup scripts on Standby(primary is a 3-node RAC). We are receiving the following error from the past few days.

RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on disk1 channel at 09/21/2011 18:08:36
ORA-19502: write error on file "/archive_logs/RACBackup/20110921/b9mn48p7_1_1", blockno 1340033 (blocksize=8192)
ORA-27072: File I/O error
Linux Error: 28: No space left on device

We have enough space to take the backup, but finally RMAN shows backup completed in RMAN log.
 
what are the possible reasons for failing backup. Suggest me guys.
