Transparent Gateway feature verification

 Hello,
I would like you to tell me how I can do to verify that my database has the transparent gateway functionality installed. I queried the DBA_FEATURES_STATISCTICS_USAGE table ant the that feature appears. I have checked mine tnsnames.ora file and found no MSQL entry.
Please your comments on how do I need to proceed.
