Is this possible in R12 Oracle Assets (Reclassification of Asset)?

My company has a category ... Major: Building,  Minor: other.

there are 10 asstes posted using this category  combination

now the company desides to be very specific and they want to change 4 of 10 assets to be Building.Design, Building.Wall, etc ...

These assets are added in Oracle Assets 5 yrs ago and they have 6yrs of remaining life.

How can I change these asset category in middle of its life ?

Please let me know if there is a solution for this.
