BOM Allowed Item Attribute

Dear Comunity Colleagues,

I want to prevent that an Item which is part of a Bill of Materials is picked for a WIP Job, when the WIP Job is released. Due to other constraints in the Process Model, I don't want to use the Inventory attributes at Item Level.

I was thinking to use the attribute "BOM Allowed" and set it to "Null".

Do you know if it is possible to release the Wip Job for an Assembly containing in it's BOM a component with the Attribute "BOM Allowed" = "N", but prevent that this component is picked for the Wip Job?
