PJM Org Parameters, Project control level as project

Hi,
In our setup we have project control level as 'Project' in PJM Organization parameters.

Can we now change it to Task. (Sieben numbers are placed in system, but we do not want to use it further)

And if we keep the PJM Org Paramater, project control level at 'Project' only, what would be its impact on transactions like PO, WIP, SO? And how system behaves when it is set at Task level.
