High Redo Genearation in 11g Database

Hi All,

We have Oracle application 12.1.1 on RHEL 5.4  and Database version 11g.

We found the that there is no transaction in  PRD instance ,but still redo generation high level and find out the nightly jobs are 4 schedule programs.

Hot backup is running on 10pm every day, which using by “alter tablespace “command, which is schedule in the crontab.

Please can you one share the idea, how to fix this issue.
