Job Evaluation

Hi,

1.What is the purpose of job evaluation and what exactly the methods(degree,hay factor,point factor method etc) are used in the system.
2.Whether the system stores the data in different tables for the Pay grade step table,Pay grade by class and Pay grade by Job.
