ATO Item and Standard Item in R11i

Hi,
We are trying to evaluate, based on business requirement, to see which Item type would meet the requirement closely i.e. Standard Item or ATO Item.

I wanted to know if there are any known limitation in using ATO item in any of Oracle 11i Standard processes like DropShip Process, RMA Process, Back-To-Back Ordering etc.

Please let me know if you are aware of any process limitation by using ATO items, i would really appreciate your insight.
