Supply Chain question - I am trying to find information on Inventory process TAO tables

Hi - I can't find a supply chain discussion groups, so I am hoping that someone here can lend a hand?  Our  PS_IN_RLS_DMD_TAO and PS_IN_RLS_DPI_TAO tables are HUGE.  There are over 7 million rows contained.  It is my understanding the IN_FUL_RLS process should be deleting rows off this at the completion of each Process Instance.  Can anyone tell me if your tables are this huge?  We are on version 8.9, tools 8.49.  Our processing is so slow that it's becoming a significant issue.
