How to upgrade perl oracle linux 5.4

Hello All

I need your help from Linux master here. I need to upgrade perl from linux because i have problem when clone oracle databse oracle application if perl from oracle is not same with OS , clone process will fail. So please help How to upgrade perl from oracle linux.
