Catalan - language support for Spellchecker

We have reviewed "Siebel System Requirements and Supported Platforms" document in the Bookshelf and found that "Catalan" language is indeed not one of the included in the "Localized Languages for Release 8.1" list, nor is it marked as supported.
As per client request, our client needs this language added to dictionary/spell-check feature.

Can you let me know if Catalan is indeed supported in Spellcheck and if not are there any plans for this language support for SpellChecker or shall I raise an Enhancement Request?
