Install Issues RHEL 5.3 On X4150

 I'm having all sorts of problems trying to install RHEL 5.3 on a X4150 (64-bit) direct from the RH installation DVD. No matter what I try, the installation always hangs shortly after the install boot screen at the following 2 lines:

time.c: Using 14.318180 MHz WALL HPET GTOD HPET/TSC timer.

time.c: Detected 2826.254 MHz processor.

Oracle support have had me run extended iLOM diagnostics (and although the diags hung both times I ran it), they say the hardware is showing no faults. My understanding is the X4150 should be supported to run RHEL. I have 8 disks in the X4150. The first 2 are set as IM and this would be where I install the O/S. The remaining 6 are set as IME and would be partitioned for use as additional storage.
