Remote Location installation and configuration documentation

HI,

I'm investigating creating a server configuration for a remote location.  I'm looking for Oracle documentation detailing the process.  I understand how to create a new Enterprise server.  Do I have to create a new Data server and somehow configure replication.  We are SQL2008.
