AGIS upgrade for intercompany organizations

Hi All,

My customer has just upgraded from 11.5.10 to R12.1.3. GIS has been upgraded to AGIS

My query is- All Subsidiaries have been migrated to Intercompany organizations. But in many cases, some intercompany organizations do not have legal entities attached. What is the logic of the upgrade to derive the legal entity. Is this through the set of books attached at the subsidiary in 11i

Does this mean the upgrade has derived more than one legal entity and hence has not attached a single legal entity to the intercompany organization

2. The second query in addition to the subsidiaries which have been upgraded as intercompany organziations without legal entities, there are other sets of intercompany organizations which have been migrated. All legal entities in 11i have been migrated as Intercompany organizations in R12 with the subsidiary name as Legal entity name in 11i and they have also been attached to the legal entity in AGIS?  Under which circumstances or scenarios, can this happen?
