EAM Transaction Accounting

I am looking for a document the best pulls together the EAM transaction postings showing each transaction and how the accounting is structured and where the system gets the information for each transactions accounting. Can someone point me to a white paper or document that addresses this topic. The audience would be the Accounnting and Auditing departments.
