Confuse about Oracle concepts !

 Hi all,

   I have read MOS with ID:  403747.1 about Physical Corruption. There is a part of document that made me confused, it said:

  3. How to check a physical corruption ?
  ...
   LIMITATIONS WITH DBV:

   Some blocks that may not be part of Oracle, they would have been dropped ...
   ....
   ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    And it also said If use RMAN with VALIDATE option, still has this limition

   I think that, use DBV (physically) or RMAN (logically) tool, and their goal are check corruptions from datafiles DB. Why there are some blocks not be part of Oracle ??

   Can anyone explains about it ?
