Cannot post Fixed asset Journals

Ran create masss additions. Aug-11 fixed asset period opened but Aug-11 GL closed. Journals did not post. We opened the Aug-11 gl period. I ran Transfer journal entries to GL - assets report and create accounting - Assets report. No journals were posted.
