Should i follow R12 interoperability note with Database 11gR2 [ID 1058763.1] when upgrading from EBS

Hi,

My current system is 11.5.10.2 running with RDBMS 11.2.0.2 under IBM AIX 6.1

Following the document "Upgrade Guide Release 11i to 12.1.1 Part No. E16342-04" or any related document, it's not mentionned that we should apply the interoperability patch 9062910 or any other requirement described in the interoperability note.

Should i follow the pre-requisite steps described in the the document "Interoperability Notes EBS R12 with Database 11gR2 [ID 1058763.1]" even it's not mentionned in the upgrade documentation as described in note ID 1274012.1?

can anyone explain that point please?
