Changing GL Journal Entry Summarization Option in R12

Hi,

The General Ledger Journal Entry Summarization Option is defined as No Summarization in our production environment. We are thinking about changing it to more summarization. This should result in less table space. Has anyone tried this? Changing this option after go live. If anyone has info on how much table space you save by changing to summary I would appreciate it.
