Physical Standby database backup Restore

Hello,

        We have a backup of our physical standby database that we'd like to restore another test server.   We would like to take this physical standby database backup and restore it to our test server and bring it up as an regular open database (not a physical standby database anymore).  Idea is to use the physical standby backup and bring up it as an open database (not a physical standby database) and use for testing.   We've restored regular primary type database in the past but from what we read it is possible to do what we described but are there
