E1 9.0 HCM employee skills and certification mass update

 All, is there a method to make a mass update to a select group of employees that all took the same training on the same day.  We want to record the course, date, certification next expiration date, etc. for a group of employees.  I am aware that there is not a mass update feature, but can you use any existing grid to export the employees names/ids into excell there the details could be created (via copy) and then import the details back into E1?  Other idea?
