Employee Self Service - Children who are beneficiaries only

Has anyone been able to add children as beneficiaries only and not have those children show up on the dependent screen P085551?  Special Handling in UDC 08/RL has Child as "A" which will allow them to be dependent or beneficiary, causing them to show on P085551.  I need child (who does not qualify as a dependent) to be beneficiary only, Special Handling "B".  I've added a "Child, Beneficiary only" code on UDCs 08/RL, 08b/BR, and 08b/DR but this doesn't always work.
