Asset Conversion: How to upload fully depreciated assets from legacy system into Oracle?

Our client is implementing R12 FA and has assets with the date placed in service for oldest asset is September-1-1967.

All assets from 1967 to 1973 are fully depreciated.

Assets from 1973 have YTD and Accumulated Depreciation.

Depreciation method used is Straight-Line cost based.

1.       1.    Do we have to define all calendars from 1963?

2.       2.       How do we upload all the fully-depreciated assets from 1967 into oracle?

3.       3.    Client wants to load assets using Current Book Value and depreciate it with a remaining value calculation. Is it possible?  

T       I'll sincerely appreciate if anyone help me with the above-questions.
