Examples of reports with Oracle tables containing an XMLType Column

Hope all is well.

I am looking for some example BI Publiser reports from an Oracle table with an XMLType column containing XML data.
According the section below from the BI Publisher manual, XMLType support is limited.

• Note: When you execute the query in the Query Builder, the XMLType will display as null. When you save the query to the Report Builder, you must add the function (such as getClobval()) to extract the XML from the type
