Inventory to GL Reconciliation

Period Close reconciliaiton report is generally used to get the ending period value for each org and compare this to GL for reconciliation purposes.  If we are looking for a report which shows

1. Period begin balances

2. Transactions in/out for the period

3. Ending Balance

Is there any standard report which can provide this info.  Alterantively if members can provide a query if any developed it will be very helpful to us.
