web service access to account-contact role

Hi,

I would like to get the list of available contact roles (on the account-contact relationship) via web service for a 3rd party implementation. I am not sure what the correct record type/fieldname combination is with the picklist web service. I tryed "Account Contact" as record type, but got an access denied error (instead of "object does not exist"). I am Administrator and can set/modify the field via GUI.

Has anyone used the picklist webservice for account-contact roles and has a hint for me?
