Creating SRs using Automated Diagnosis
We have been working on making Automated Diagnosis of Oracle SPARC
Enterprise M-Series Servers and the older Sun Fire Vxxx series
available. It has been released and here is how it works in a nutshell
for M-series:
- Create an Service Request (SR) like you normally would via the My Oracle Support portal
- At Step 3, you select: "Automated Diagnosis (Data upload required)"
- Select the issue you think the system has. (Fan, Power supply, CPU, Memory, Internal Disk, or "Other issue")
- Upload an Oracle Explorer[TM] and/or a XSCF snapshot (For M-series) depending on what issue you want to have diagnosed. (We call them data bundles)
