Error while installing Oracle 10.2.0.4 x64 on W2K8 x64
Hi, When attempting the install of 10.2.0.4 x64 on W2K8 x64, I've got the error at the dos window level
Checking installer requirements...
Checking operating system version: must be 5.0, 5.1, 5.2 or 6.0. Actual 6.1
Failed <<<<
Please press Enter to exit...
I modified the oraparam.ini, adding 6.1 :
[Certified Versions]
Windows=5.0,5.1,5.2,6.0,6.1
It solve the problem at the beginning (dos window step) , but the problem occured when checking the prerequisite.
What's the official solution to that problem?
