Why doesn't Oracle Forms work with WebStart?  We currently have lots of issues with session merging with IE 8 when trying to run multiple sessions of a custom app.  
I had to write a custom applet to run iexpore -noframemerge.

Webstart would remove those issues and would lighten the client load by removing the iexplore run time too.
