MSP Integration

customer uses MSP to capture progress and ETC

they are attempting to upload the ETC against a worplan and spread those hours over the REMAINING periods for the task ie. the ETC only applies from the point at which the ETC is captured through to the task finish date

two issues have arisen

a)  support have suggested this is only possible with split structures ie. seperate work & financial workplans

b) when uploaded the ETC is apportioned over the tasks full timescale ie. back to the task start date, not forward from the point of ETC capture to the end date
