Could any one point me where I could find how the Customized Defined Queries work on MFS?

On our custom MFS application we would like to query certain data not in the OLite database, but in EBS. Looking at the publications CSM_QUERY, CSM_QUERY_INSTANCES, CSM_QUERY_RESULTS, CSM_QUERY_VARIABLE, CSM_QUERY_VARIABLE_VALUES.... It looks ike this might be what we need....

Any help would be much appreciated...
